Once you receive this is this you done and dusted from your PTD?

I got mine in about 3 weeks ago and ive made my final payments just before this, so im hoping ive not forgotten to do anything.

I signed up with Experian to view my credit file, and (embarrasingly) cant quite make head nor tail of it.

Is there any more user friendly sites to view your credit file? Im not sure how to clean mine up either, but due to phone Experian shortly to cancel before my 30 day trial is up.

Any advice would be appreciated, and thank goodness my 3 year TD has finally come to an end.

Hi greenie.

Form 5 means that you're finished.

Are there any aspects of the report that you have that we could help to clarify for you?

H Greenie,

Once you have received your Form 5 you are done and dusted with your Trust Deed. Your Trust Deed file itself will probably remain open for a short period of time to distribute a dividend (payment) to creditors and close the case.

I recently used the free 30 day trial with both Experian (Credit Expert) and Equifax. I found Experian to be more user friendly and have a better layout and format. It listed all of my information very accurately and provided me with my credit score for free. Equifax asked me to pay an small fee for my credit score with them which I declined.

It should list any of your debt and allow you to expand this field to show the details of each company, the original agreement amount, the start date and the current status/balance on any account. It should also give you a summary of any payments paid to it over the term of your agreement. There is some good advice on the forum about how best to go about repairing your credit rating.

It should also list any financial associations, previous addresses, any company which has carried out a credit check against you.

It was very straight forward to phone up both Experian and Equifax to cancel the free 30 day subscription. Took about 10 minutes in total to phone both companies.

Noddle is pretty clear to use but you will need to check all 3 main credit agencies(equifax, experian and call credit (noddle)) as the information may differ.

Thanks Paul.

Is there anyway to retrieve your Credit Score for free?

For what I can see you have to pay for this on these sites?

Can I highly recommend to prospective trust deeders AMI financial solutions, as they have been great from day one of my TD. I also received my Form 5 in 4 weeks after final payment, so their service is highly commendable. ๐Ÿ™‚
