Received my form 5 from creditfix on the 10th February. Checked AIB and it says debtors discharge date 16th February.

No date next to trustee discharge? How long will this take? As it says on form 5 they will write to me again when my discharge has been registered?

Is that me completely discharged? what do I do now, how long before completely discharged?

And How long before I can write to creditors, as on my noodle credit file says , all my defaults are still active and trust deed says active also.

Please advise

Joe

Welcome to the forum joe8888.

Congratulations on completing your trust deed. As far as you're concerned, you're finished.

Your trustee may have remaining work to do, but that's between them, your creditors and the AIB. It needn't concern you.

If there's issues with your credit file you can address them now.

Hi Kevin, its just a big relief at the moment. which is a great feeling. how long does it normally take in your experience for the trustee discharge from aib, now I've received my form 5?

There's no "normal" here joe8888.

Depending on what remains to be done, and to what extent its prioritised, it could be days, weeks, months or years.

It shouldn't make any difference to you though.

Well done on completing your trust deed and getting your essential form 5...having just recieved our form 5 we really couldnt care less about any other work being done by our trustee...it really makes no difference to you so my advice is just enjoy being debt free...youve done so well but dont upset yourself worrying about something that really makes no difference to you new debt free status.
