So excited to say I have had a mortgage accepted in principle.
I signed a trust deed in 2011 and was discharged 3 years ago. I have followed the advice you guy gave. Built my credit and saved for a deposit. My credit file is sitting at fair but I was totally upfront with the mortgage advisor and she found something for me.
A trust deed was honestly the best thing I have done. It's was a tough 3 years as was made redundant half way through my trust deed but got through it.
