Hi
Got my paperwork through for TD appraisal which is fine I have nothing to hide but to get my trust deed they "tweeked" my outgoings so i would have enough left over to make a suitable monthly amount due to my outgoings and my varying monthly wage (due to shift pattern).
When I took this on I explained that the car was only in my name due to my husband being home late from work and that the car insurance is in his name. Do I still need to send them a copy of the MOT and Insurance even though the car is really my husbands
Hi newsm
it would really depend on who the car belongs to. The Registered Keeper is not always the owner of the car. If the car was bought by your husband, and he is the Registerd Keeper, then i don't see why they want the MOT etc as the Trustee would have no interest in the car. If however you bought and paid for the car, and your husband is simply the registered keeper, then the Trustee will need a copy of the current car documants, are you are the actual owner.
Hope this help.
