My trust deed ends soon - well I thought I only had a couple of payments left. However, I was off work sick last year and missed a few payments (submitted a sick line). I didn't realise that these would be added at the end so I now have 7 payments left. Is this right? Also would I be able to apply for finance to buy a new car just now? When trust deed completed is there a rebate? Sorry, quite a few questions.

Hi Jean

the period of the Trust Deed is less important than the proposal at the start ie your proposal at the start is 36 x contribution. If payments are missed then these need to be made up.

There's no restriction in applying for credit other than any bad credit marking.

I'm not sure what you mean about a rebate.
