Made final payment to Creditfix in November .
I had overpaid and have already received that money back.
Just waiting on the Form 5.

For me it has been a long 4 and a half years so I don't believe it
Is actually finished.

Creditfix have been helpful since they took over my trust deed and
Stuck to the equity position as they said .

May call and ask about this final form

Thanks to all on this forum particularly Mark McFadden
and TDA for all the help in the beginning and a big thanks
To Creditfix also.

Congratulations on finally getting there, ann910. I'm sure you won't have to wait too long until that form 5 is in your hands and you are officially discharged.

As a matter of curiosity, are you planning to start saving a bit of the money you were paying to your Trust Deed each month? I always think this is the perfect time to start given that you are used to managing without that money - even just a fraction of it put away can quickly build up into a useful contingency fund.

Hi Ann,

Well done on reaching this point and successfully completing all of your payments.

I would chase up your Form 5 as the sooner you receive this the sooner you are fully discharged and can start to move forward knowing you are completely debt free.

Kevin's suggestion is a good one about using the money you were paying and putting they towards savings and something I try to encourage my clients to do. Before you do that perhaps enjoy the money for the next couple of months and treat yourself, a holiday or a weekend away perhaps or even just a night out. Spoil yourself especially it's been a tough couple of years.

All the best for the future and let us know when you receive the Form 5.

Its a huge relief when you finish, I have finished mine a few years now and have only just been able to get a loan from my bank...got it to try and boost my credit rating, lets see how it goes.

Well done ann910.

I'm glad you've reached the end and that the earlier change of trustee did not affect your progress.

Best wishes to you.
