Just wanted to say a quick thank you to everyone on this forum for your advice over the last 4 years. My final payment came off today and it was definitely worth it!

To anyone just starting or thinking of going into a trust deed, youโ€™ll be amazed how quickly it goes in and for me it has helped me a great deal to help with my finances.

Thank you so much again!

That's brilliant, SD1991. Thanks for sharing your good news and positive experience - I think it will be very reassuring for many people who are further back in the whole process, or still looking for advice on what the best route might be for them.

Hopefully you will now notice the difference of having that extra bit spare each month, even if there aren't many places open for you to spend it just now!

Thanks for the replies!

I found it really reassuring, in the early days of the trust deed, to hear of other people who had went through the same.

Any advice going forward?

Hi SD1991.

I'm not sure whether your credit rating and access to credit is important to you, but this article includes information about a number of matters that are relevant to that:

There may also be some suggestions or tips that other members of the forum who have completed their trust deeds could share with you.

Hopefully your discharge comes through soon so that you can begin to move forwards.

Just a quick question, I have seen on the insolvency register that the debtor discharge date is dated 13/07/20.

I have not heard much from my trustee but does this mean I have been discharged?

Many thanks

Hi SD1991,

Yes - that debtor discharge date on the register is the official confirmation that you have been discharged.

Congratulations!
