If you can, it might be best to wait until your discharge is confirmed on your credit report.

You might also wish to ensure that your former creditors have amended their entries on your credit file to reflect the fact that you have been discharged.

This will give you both a better chance of getting car finance, and a better chance of getting a decent deal on your car finance.
