Hello ibmstyle.

Hi ibmstyle,

If you are considering entering into a Trust Deed regardless of which firm this is with you need to make sure that you have had all of your available options explained and that you get everything in writing with regards to exactly how your Trust Deed will work i.e. level of payment, length of time and especially when it comes to any assets that you may own like a house or a car.

You ideally want to sit down with someone in person and discuss all of your options, take some time to think about everything and then if you are happy and comfortable proceed with things.

Is there anything you would like to ask about your situation or how a Trust Deed works?

David makes a good point. You should be comfortable with whoever you deal with and always ensure that every point is discussed, agreed by all parties and confirmed in writing before doing anything. That way there should be no surprises.
