Hi. Now a year in and have a query!
Over the past month I have done extra hours to pay for Christmas as we have no money to spend on the kids.
Do I need to let them know or is it ok as it's a one off?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Indebt999.

If in doubt you should probably inform your trustee to avoid nasty surprises later.

As a one-off they may well let you keep it though.

Hi indebt999

It is normally more trouble than its worth to alter things for a one off.

It should be about balance. If people do no overtime, then no one benefits. However an agreement should be reached where the individual retains the majority of any overtime, while the Trust Deed had some benefit. That way everyone benefits.
