Hi
I have been discharged from my trust deed for 3 years. My dad what's me to be the executor of his will. Would I be able to do this?

Hi kag.

I can't see any reason at all why not.

I thought if you had a protected trust deed, you could not do this.

You're not in a protected trust deed though kag?

I'm not aware of any restriction.

From the top of my mind I can't remember whether there's a restriction prior to discharge. I'm sure David or Kevin will confirm when they're next here.

I don't think there is any restriction on this prior to discharge either, though may be wrong (it has been known!)
