i am considering a trust deed but am unsure of the following -

i am self employed.

i have equity in my home that would cover most of my debts but i cannot get access to it due to my financial situation.

i have a loan secured on my house.

i have several credit cards, a catalogue account, unsecured loans.

am i a candidate for a trust deed?
would i be able to get money released from my home even tho i have a loan secured on it?

many many thanks for any help you can give me ๐Ÿ™‚

Hello and welcome to the trust deed forum Stumpy.

Being self-employed is no bar to starting a trust deed. It probably further emphasises the need to find a really professional firm to help you though as it can be a little more involved than it might be for someone with a set wage coming in every week or month.

Regarding your home; could you tell us how much you estimate it to be worth, whether it's owned just by you or jointly with another person, how much is owed on the mortgage, and how much is owed on the secured loan?

It would be useful to know your approximate total unsecured debt as well.

Hi Stumpy

Could you give me an indication of House value, balance of mortgage and balance of any secured loan and total debt.

The above will give us a better idea of which option best suits.
