Is a trust deed duration:
4 years from Signing
4 Years from being protected
on the day the 48th Payment is made

I.e What date do the trustees start working on the payment to creditors and discharge ?

Hi,

The minimum term is four years from signing.

That's just a minimum though, it can be longer.

As per a reply earlier today, trustees will vary in how long it takes them to proceed towards discharging their client.

Minimum 4 years, but normally it will be just over 4 years before a person is discharged. This is so that 48 month's worth of contributions can be collected, given that often there may be a slight delay before payments start at the beginning.
