Hi there, I've posted once before & just would like confirmation on one thing. I have had my discharge letter but have been told I'm not discharged at Tenon's side due to ppi, have I been fully discharged or not because looking at my credit file it doesn't look like it, accounts still defaulting. Should I contact Experian & send them my discharge letter? Thanks

Hi p boy

Yes, you've been discharged. There are 2 parts, your discharge and the trustees. The trustee has discharged you, but he remains in office to tidy things up. Nothing to worry about.

Hi p boy kk.

As just mentioned on another thread I'm not 100% sure on the credit rating question.

Please be aware though that trust deed firms don't report to credit reference agencies.

I cannot see any harm in notifying Experian of your discharge. If you do, it's worth also doing this with CallCredit and Equifax.

I do think creditors will not update their view of the status of your trust deed until they have received their dividend, though I'm not certain on this point.
