Hope you don't think this is a silly question.I am discharged from my Trust Deed but I wonder when I die and leave my house to my children will they find out I was in a TD?It's just I had to pay the equity in the house and wondered if my TD would show up on any paperwork.Don't have any plans on leaving this world for a long time yet.

Hi lucygirl

Its not a silly question at all. Quite an interesting one to be honest.

I assume your Trustee is discharged also and if this is the case, then there should be nothing on the property deeds to indicate the Trustee's existance.

Your Trustee would normally have an inhibition in place through the period of the Trust Deed, but if you are both discharged, then this will also be discharged.

I'm sure it will be fine.

Regards

Mark
