Finally got discharged today after early settlement. trustee going to remain in office to tidy up, but thats AIB confirmed it. Feels like a weight off my shoulders and reading this forum has been an excellent source of advice. [8D]

That's great kdog7.

I'm glad that the delay didn't turn into anything too horrendous.

Emailed my trustee. Sent letters to creditors asking if they would accept. No objections. Family member paid the money and wrote a letter explaining money was theirs and it was to settle on my behalf. Waited a while and got discharged. Was about as straightforward as that.

Hi poprey.

The key here, as discussed on another of your forum threads, is that the source of the funds is from a third party.

Thanks TDA, I should be settled into this especially since I have made 29 monthly payments so far and have 13 left, just weary that after making my next 1e payments, there is an issue with getting discharged, maybe am just being silly thinking like that.
