Hi, first timer and newbie so be gentle with me! I was originally in a TD with Grant Thornton back in 2008 and successfully paid off all of my debts. However my marriage broke up not long after the final payment and my ex and I don't see eye to eye so I dont know if I've been discharged or not. Any info on how I can find this out?

Welcome to the forum FoolishNobody.

Three ways to find this out I think:

1 - Contact Grant Thornton to learn whether they've kept records from that time.

2 - Contact the Accountant in Bankruptcy if GT don't know as they may have kept records.

3 - Have a look on the (online) register of insolvencies using your details from the time. If you're not on the register it's a pretty strong signal that you were discharged some time ago (which sounds likely based upon what you've told us).
