I am expecting to be discharged from my PTD in a few months. Can anyone tell me what will be included in the discharge?
I expect this to happen around May this year & am worried that things may not go a planned. I have made all the payments necessary, but I know someone who did this also, but was told at the end she still owed around half the debt she started with.
So I want to find out what I can expect from my trustee over the comming months.
I wish I'd found this site before I signed the deed, it would have helped me to put my mind at rest.
Fingers crossed everything will go OK over the next few months.

As long as you have paid all the agreed contributions, and any equity in a property or assets have been dealt with you should receive your discharge. Normally this would take place 4-6 weeks after the 3 year anniversary of you signing the Trust Deed. You should receive notification of your discharge in writing from your Trustee. It would do no harm to get in touch with your Trustee and ask if he considers there to be any outstanding matters.

Thanks Julie. This is just what I was looking for. I'll now have to look out our original documents & get in touch with the Trustee.
