Hi

Just looking for clarification on what final checks the TD does before discharge? I can't seem to find anything online and just interested in what the process is.

Thanks

I think this will vary a little from firm to firm Ksm00009. It could also vary according to the nature of your personal situation.

Hopefully Kevin or Paul can share a little of their experience on this subject when they next visit the forum.

Hi.

It's really just a case of checking that everything that could/should have been gathered in to the Trust Deed has been. I.e. have all contributions been made, are any assets outstanding to be dealt with, has there been full compliance from the debtor throughout.

Hi Alasdair1980,

Is there something specific that you'd like to hear more about?

Kevin's post, per his experience of managing this final stage of a trust deed, seems to indicate that there's nothing significant to worry about. If you've done what you originally agreed to then there should quite simply be a rapid progression towards being discharged.

Are you close to being finished?
