Hi, i am confused about my Discharge, i have fully paid my trust deed 1 year early and received a letter from my trustee yesterday saying my V5 form (think this is what its called) has been done and they are legally entitled to let me know in writing that i an formally discharge and will remain in office to claim any PPI claims.
What dose the remain in office mean? and how long would they remain in office for?
I don't have any PPI claims but do have a CCA claim with Northern Rock, is this them same?

Hi confused

There are 2 parts to the trust deed, your discharge and the discharge of the trustee. It looks as though you are being discharged which effectively is your part complete. The trustee will now need to pay a final dividend, check PPI etc and then seek his own discharge. However this has no effect on your position.

Dose that mean i am still discharged and will my credit file be updadted?
Dose this mean i do not need to notify my Trusee of any change income change now and if i had a win ect?
Would my CCA claim go to my Trustee like a PPI claim?

Hi confusedI normally avoid credit file questions as they are not an exact science. You can certainly advise them of your discharge.

When you are discharged there will be no need for further income reviews as your part has finished. However any ppi claim etc will go to your trustee as he is still in office.
