W & B can confirm that a recent discussion with the Staff at the Accountant in Bankruptcy suggests that when a Form 5 is completed and sent to the Accountant for updating relevant records, "the date on which a debtor is discharged is not currently shown on the Register of Insolvencies but this will be addressed when the next update on the Register is carried out." They stated that a timescale for the update could not be given but in the meantime former Trust Deed clients should use a Form 5 issued by their Trustee as proof of Discharge.

As there have been a few questions on the forum recently about entries and dates on the Register of Insolvencies, Chris and his colleagues took the initiative to have a chat with the AIB on the subject.
As Chris reports, you may be surprised to know that the Register Of Insolvencies doesn't include a discharge date at all... yet.
Thanks for looking into it Chris.
Logic would have thought that the effective date of an individuals discharge would be the date it was recorded in the ROI. However the date of their discharge is, per the AIB's guidance, the date on which the last contribution is paid or the date when the last asset is realised.
