I have been lurking on the forum over the period of my Trust deed and it helped me to get through the 4 years. I had been discharged in January 2022. However I just received email from ACI that they acquired account from My JAR and demanding payment. My Jar was definitely included in TD and the fact I was in debt management + the name of the company is My JAR account.
I have emailed ACI with the copy of form 5. Is there anything else I should do? Can they demand the repayment?
Welcome to the trust deed forum Mirkaelfmark.
You have nothing to worry about if your MyJar debt existed when your trust deed began. All qualifying debts that existed at that time were included in the process (whether listed or not).
Asset Collections & Investigations (ACI) has taken over many former MyJar accounts. It seems as though they may not have been made aware of your trust deed.
They cannot enforce this debt against you, so you could just choose to ignore them if you wish. It's good that you have copied them with a copy of your Form 5 though, as this should enable them to verify that they cannot seek repayment from you. It may also guide them towards your trustee who may determine that they're in line to receive a dividend from your trust deed (if that process hasn't already concluded).
