Thanks for all you comments I have heard enough and have informed them I do not want to proceed.I don,t think a trust deed would be the best option for me,I will seek advice and might go as far as selling my house to pay off debts

First step would be to get a reliable estimate of what your house is worth, which would go a long way to making your options clearer. We regularly speak to surveyors to get a good idea of a likely valuation at this early stage - am happy to do this for you if you wish.

If equity figures once confirmed do differ from those posted, it's possible other solutions would work. I think the overall point is to have the facts and discussions as a starting point.
