Hi,

I entered into a Trust Deed in February 2012. I was discharged in November 2016 and received my form 5.
My Noddle credit report still shows all of the affected accounts as defaulted with fresh default notices being added every month.
I have signed up to ClearScore and none of the accounts show up at all.

Which one is right? Have I just happened to sign up for ClearScore just as everything has been settled?

Many thanks for any assistance.

Andy.

Hi andyj56

Your credit score should show everything that has happened over the last 6 years - so this would include your Trust Deed and probably many defaults. If they aren't showing on Clearscore then I would suggest that it may be an issue with the report rather than these things having disappeared now.

To clarify one thing - there aren't fresh default notices being added every month. The formal date of default will usually only happen once, with subsequent months just showing that those accounts are "in default". Once you are discharged from a Trust deed then the debts should be amended to show as being "settled" or "satisfied", with a nil balance outstanding. Once the default dates get to the 6-year point then that debt's entry should disappear altogether.
