There has been quite a few posts about Credit Reference Agencies, which one to use and what it costs.
Also, there was a Topic about when the full record of information was cleared (Trust Deed date versus the last date the account was reported Defaulted in the monthly status).
I don't know if anyone has heard of CheckMyFile. I have just found it and signed up for a month free to check it out. It lists the three main credit reference agencies (CallCredit, Experian and Equifax) information clearly and you can identify quickly that some information is reported on some agencies and not on others. It also shows the credit scores showing on each one.
Another important addition to the information is that it shows clearly the date when the default will be reported until.
After the 30 day trial, the cost is ยฃ7.99 per month, or can be paid quarterly.
As a result of using this, I have noticed that one of my accounts will be removed in September 2015 on one reference agency and in November in another, which I did not realise. The rest are all in alignment. That means I can contact them and get it corrected.
Unsurprisingly, it is RBS - the one that was the most difficult to get to respond or action anything!
Anyway, I thought it may be helpful for people to check it out - even on the monthly free trial.
