Hi

Now that I have received my discharge what effect will this have on my credit file in the short term?

I know the TD will remain on my file for six years but what about the individual accounts/debts within the TD?

Thanks

Defaulted debts will remain on your credit file for six years from the date of default gresgow. The default date should be no later than the start of your trust deed.

Default notices should be marked partially satisfied or satisfied. The balances should be set to zero.

In reality - you may find you need to press some creditors to do some of these things in a month or two (if it's important to you).
