Hi guys,

I'm looking for a bit of advice here. I'm currently looking to change to a different broadband/telephone provider. On looking at the smallprint for the talk talk site.It says that my order will be subject to a credit check from one of the credit reference agencies. Is this worth me doing this,or is it a no go due to being in a TD?

thanks in advance for you replies

Carol

Hi Carol.

From previous reports it may not be an issue.

The reality is that they're not offering that much credit and can easily cut you off if you were to fall behind on payments.

Worth a go perhaps.

The credit check may well simply be to confirm your name and address,go for it,and if you do fail to get accepted try phoning them up,they are keen for your custom and may be able to over ride any checks.

Thanks Paul and TDA,

I'm expecting a call back from talk talk on Friday, so I will let you all know how it goes.
