Hi all
I just wanted to say thanks for all the good advice you've given through this forum. It really does make a difference.

David - It was good to meet you face to face and go over my budget in closer detail. After discussing the options available to me I've have a good long think and decided that I'm going to see if I can be approved for a DAS. It will take longer than the TD but at the moment I can afford to pay it off within the time frame and will also have an increase in salary later on this year which will help to reduce it further.
Thanks again!

Best of luck, Fresh Start2017. Sounds like you've considered all of the options and chosen what feels best for you, which is how it should be. I hope things work out for you as planned, though don't forget there is always the opportunity to change your mind at any point if you wish.

Hi Fresh Start 2017,

It was really good to meet you too.

That’s the real benefit of sitting down with an Expert face to face over a coffee and a hot chocolate. Doing it face to face means that you can discuss all of your available options, the pros and cons of each option and the possible change in future circumstances and then decide which option best suits you. That’s why we always try and encourage people to do this where possible.

I think you have made the right decision with the Debt Arrangement Scheme. If you can stick to a budget and with the possible increase in income in the future it shouldn’t run much longer than what a Trust Deed would.

Make that appointment with the CAB and take it from there. If you need any further advice or help or just have a question that your worried about pop onto the forum or give me a call on the mobile.

Good luck for the future.
