Hi maverick267.

From memory you're in a protected trust deed and have been so for some time?

If that's correct, and this was one of the creditors when you originally signed your trust deed, just send the statement to your trust deed company to deal with.

There cannot be any interest added. This creditor just needs to update their records.

Hi Maverick

Creditors debts freeze from the date the Trust Deed is signed.

If you are receiving paperwork for a debt, best bet is to send it to your Trustee.

Could you advise when this paperwork was sent and when you called?

Hi maverick267

You should not be making payment to any creditor. If you cancel the Trust Deed payment, then the Trustee will petition for bankruptcy.

Hi maverick

I assume it is a debt collector. Could you advise who they are acting on behalf of? Some creditors are notoriously slower than other, however they have no right whatsoever to demand payment.

Hi maverick267,

Please talk to your Trustee about this as soon as you get another chance.

It's just not something that you should be concerned about, not something that you should be dealing with directly, and not something that you should be jeopardising your trust deed over.

Hi maverick

office is closed today due to weather.

I dont normally discuss cases here, but Barclaycard agreed to the Trust Deed and submitted their claim. So the debt agency is at it.

Do you have a contact number and reference for Callder?
