Hi

Had a thought, do you pay your two 'free' months of council tax to you TD, and if so is it best to pay it over 12 months rather than 10 to reduce the monthly cost, saving a few pounds?

Every end has a start !!

I'm not sure what others do, but we would not seek extra payments during the 2 "free" council tax months - it would just really complicate matters with standing orders etc for little benefit.

The annual cost should be averaged over 12 months - if you choose to pay in ten then you should get the benefit of the 2 months off.

We do not look for the "2 free" council tax months payments to be paid over either.

As Kevin said, it's too complicated and hard to track each case for this.
