Hi,
Looking for some advice about paying off my trust deed in full early
I have a trust deed for £27500 I have payed £3300 so far and in a position to pay the full £27500 , my trust deed is with RSM Tenon (GLASGOW)Can anyone give me a clue as in how much i will have to pay to clear the trust deed
Usually it's the Full amount + 8% interest and your Trustees Fees..... Hopefully your expenses will be less due to you finishing your PTD early........
Good luck......
is an inheratance from my late fathers estate i have informed the trustee just need to know what the final costs will be.i.e trustees fee
Hi Brooklyn
As Porcupine says, you have to pay the debts in full, plus 8% interest, in addition to your Trustees fees. If you have not been in it the full 3 years the fees may be reduced, but in honesty, the bulk of the work is done at the beginning of the Trust Deed, and therefore that is where the bulk of the fees go.
Hope you have some money left for yourself!!
Just out of interest on that point, did you know that if you have life insurance written into Trust for someone, it means if you die during your Trust Deed, the money goes to your partner or siblings etc, not to your Trustee...........One to think about!

Hi Brooklyn
Sorry, but TDA is correct, you would need to continue with your contributions if all the costa were not met.
