Hey everyone
im just looking into a trust deed at the moment, as im really stuggling, and have recently been told by my employer that around 20% of my monthly income will be no longer as of 1st March, so think a TD may be my only option, but i'm not sure who to go with, have spoke with a few companies, and they are telling me not to go with the other (i.e these people are sales men, we'v had people not released from their TD after 3 years) there for getting really frightened and worried, can anyone advise of a company they really trust, and can put my mind at ease
thanks

Hi xdenzelx and welcome to the trust deed forum.
The issue of some companies employing "salespeople" rather than properly trained and qualified "advisers" is a theme that appears in this forum regularly.
A trust deed, while being absolutely the right decision for many people, is a serious step to take. For that reason advisers should seek to establish all of the debt solution options available for you (and present the positives and negatives of each to you, they will be different for everyone based upon their own unique circumstances) so that you can make an informed decision yourself without any pressure to go one way or another being applied.
We're happy to recommend the services of the companies represented on this forum by Kevin, Julie and Mark. The feedback from visitors to this forum that have gone on to use their services has been very positive. I will also state that there are plenty of other very good protected trust deed providers as well; most do a very good job for their clients.
Hopefully some of our other members/visitors will add their thoughts about the trust deed companies that they have used to assist you in making a decision that you can feel confident about.
Hi xdenzelx
I tend to rant on about two things in particular on the forum. Firstly avoid middlemen companies at all costs and secondly make sure everything is put in writing by the IP before signing anything. That way you can be assured that things will be carried our properly.
Speak to an IP company to see which option suits you. Not creditors or the company, but what is best for you.

Hey Guys
Thanks a lot for your thoughts, and help, i have decided to meet with
RSM Tenon and have a meeting on wednesday afternoon, so hopefully all goes smoothly, and hope to get started on the road to debt free life.
Was just at my wits end the other day, when i phoned all these companies, but thanks to yourselves and an employee at a trust deed company, my mind is at ease.
Keep up the good work
