hi,
i was wanting to find out if any one has dealt with creditfix and how there expereince has been with them? i am about to consider them for a td and just want some reassurance before i go to the final stage or is best i check with other companies. or can some recommend me any compainy that they have dealt with and had a smooth progress through thanks.
Hi ruk03
I have had no dealings with them, that said they are a licenced Insolvency Practitioner.
I think the last few posts highlight the absolute necessity to have a meeting to discuss all options to see what best suits. Then ensure the IP confirms ALL matters discussed in writing before you do anything. Please choose a company carefully and ask questions till yer blue in the face! Ensure all matters are covered ie contribution, overtime, car, bonuses, equity, time period etc etc.
Hope this helps a bit.

Is it possilble for me to ask them that i want all my questions answered and written in black and white before i sign or do i have to just accept there answers even if they have no backing evidance? because i would really like to find out, my situationis in debt about 23k own a house hubby is guarantor not named on mortgage we both work part time have 3 kids . i have been in dmp for about 3 years and have had all my interest frozen and charges stopped, was happily going along with this until last week had aphone call form acompany explaining about td and was shockes to hear that this sort of thing was available. so that why i have now gone about wanting to enquire about this but every company you phone to get info from they just want to get you in it staright away.i did try to get a remortgage but was refused. so was wanting to get reassured that by getting into a td my house will stay with me i owe approx 70k on it maybe house value is about 90k, all debt are on my name nothing to do with hubby.i have 1 car which i bought last year for 1200. that all we have in assets. can you please shine abit more light on my situation and a little bit of advise. thanks
Hi ruk03
Of course you can ask questions, as I keep saying, you should have a bog roll size list of questions. As for requesting things in back & White, it shouldn't be a request, it should be demanded
Am I correct in saying that the out of the blue phone call company referred you to the IP? Hmmmmm!
The only issue I can see is the potential equity. The guarantor bit won't have any real implications in the Trust Deed. That said, if the debts are all in your name, something could be structured on a third party basis re the equity. Interesting scenario.
Just remember, the phone call you received is designed to make money. Pure and simple. There are very few good guys out there.

Hi ruk03.
You're entitled to ask for whatever you want before you sign anything. If you choose to do a trust deed the company you select will earn thousands of pounds in fees, so be picky and do not sign until you have firm reason to believe that you know exactly where you stand.
Do you think the house would be sold for ยฃ90000 if it had to be sold quickly?
Hi. any chance you guiding me towards the few good guys would appriciated if i could talk to some one face to face and take things from there. as i realy wish to see which could be the best way forward for me without getting distressed .
really appreciate your advise and immediate reply thanks.
Hi ruk03.
Mark represents one of three companies featured on this site that we (and many previous site visitors) are happy to recommend. We also acknowledge that there are other excellent trust deed providers out there as well.
Hi , not sure if property would sell , had a identical house to this up for sale for past 2 years and now they have decided not to sell.. dont know if this is any light for me not to sell my house as i do not want to to this. thanks
Hi ruk03
It's not geared towards selling the house, just to get an indication of value to look at equity and other issues. We are required to look at Trust Deed valuations which don't resemble estate agents ones. Normally lower.
The fact that your husband is not party to the Trust Deed could make things substantially easier.
It shouldn't be too difficult to piece together a plan. Certainly not one which involves thar sale of the house!
