hi there,was wondering if u could help?,my wife is waiting on a compensation claim from a car crash she was involved in,she has told our trustee and they said they will take half of whatever she gets and we were wondering if this would bring forward the end date of trust deed or if she gets enough could it pay off her trust deed?thanks

Sorry the answer is no. This will be looked on as acquirenda which is basically a new asset. It won't count toward contributions.
The only good news is that she could use the other 50% that she gets to keep to shorten the Trust Deed period
