Afternoon All

I am thinking of leaving my current internet provider but before I do I thought I'd seek the advice of the forum!

If I decided to change will the new company do a credit check on me? Obviously if they do I shall need to keep to the crappy internet service I have at the moment!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Neverendingstory.

I can say that this hasn't been a common problem raised on the forum in previous months and years so hopefully you'll have no problems. Having said that, it's probably one of those things you'll only find out by trying.

Hopefully a member will have some personal experience of this that they can share...

If you are changing to a company such a virgin or sky to become your internet provider yes they will do a credit check. As they ask you to sign a 12month contract after the check.

As for other companies i am not sure there position on that.
I just know that both of these companies do a credit check.

Hi

sorry, but don't know enough about individual firms to advise you. It may be that you just have to try one and see.

Oh well - looks like I'm staying where I am - hate the rejection thing!

They're not really providing a lot of credit Neverendingstory, so I think it might be worth a go if you really want to change.
