Hi there, I am half way through my trust deed and the car I have is causing me all sorts of trouble as it's so old. The money I am having to try and pay out is a nightmare and I am trying to keep paying my trust deed as well and with the car bills I am left with hardly anything each month. I need a car for work purposes but not sure how I would go about getting a newer more reliable model as I cannot get credit. any suggestions? I am tearing my hair out!!!!
Hi Lorryjo1983,
With credit markets as they currently are it might not be that easy to get finance. I guess there is also the issue of the new payment and whether that would be affordable for you.
I wonder if the experts have any thoughts based on previous experience...
Hi lorryjo
I think finance may be an issue, however using the car as a trade in (with the Trustee's agreement) may swing things slightly in your favour. Also if the car is Hire Purchase or lease then there is less risk to the company. This may be an avenue to explore.

Thank you. I will contact my trustee to see what they say.
Will let you know....
