Hi John

Can you advise me why you 'fear a sting in the tail'

You will need to ask the Trustee to clarify the position with the car and what was agreed at the outset.

Its the phrase "a trust deed usually lasts 36 months thats throwing me", my payments are fully up to date, ive heard that you are required to pay what your car has been valued at, at the outset of your t/d i want out asap and they can have the car.

Hi john1980 and welcome to the trust deed forum.

This might turn out not to be an issue at all given that the car is of modest value.

Even if the car does need to be dealt with in some way, you/your Trustee are of course able to organise the sale of the vehicle to bring the trust deed to a conclusion.

Additional payments at the end of a trust deed (extra months) are an option selected by some people because they wish to avoid the sale of the asset concerned.
