Hello, just looking for a bit of advice I am in the very end stages of my trust deed with Wilson Andrews, I contacted them today to tell them that my car (03 plate Astra) is dead basically and to try find out where I stand trust deed wise for getting rid of the Astra and trying to get a newer car, the man I spoke to was very good and told me that I have had my final review for my trust deed and that they have no further interest in my incomes..car etc as it is valued at under £1000 anyway, he says if I was to go out and buy a brand new car they would not have any interest in it as I am only paying off arrears now, last payment will be September (£500 left to pay between now and then) can I trust this advice? I should have asked for that to be put in writing ( I will call and ask them to do so) but I just wanted to find out if anyone has been in a similar situation? Thanks in advance 🙂

Even an email confirmation. The problem you will have is getting finance for a car.
I have borrowed from family to change mine as I woukdnt have got finance except maybe a stupidly high APR type loan which I didnt fancy.

Trust deed completed Jan 2012,Trustee discharge Nov 2012.
A new dawn.

Aw ok yeah thank you, will email them then maybe and see if they will put that in writing, my other option is paying the £500 arrears now and hoping they bring everything to a close quickly. I can't afford to go out and buy a newish car but thankfully I have a family member willing to lend me the money.
