I have checked the AIB register and have seen my debtors discharge dated last week! I am awaiting my Form 5 any day now..i cannot believe how quick, and most importantly effortless my whole experience has been.

I do have to give praise where it is due and would like to say a huge thank you to Louise Burrell, my case administrator at Wylie and Bisset. Louise has been always there to answer my queries throughout the past 4 years, and has made the whole process for me stress free.

To those thinking of entering a TD i have to say although daunting at the beginning, it worked for me. The process from the start to the end was effortless and stress-less.

I remember starting out and reading others experiences on here and thinking how long 4 years seemed..it honestly goes in so quick i really think i'm still in shock!!

I also have read how peoples attitudes have changed...it does change you and for the better...it has taught me to budget, and not having credit has been a great lesson for me as i do not need it! My motto is if i want it save for it! I will be using my monthly payments to save now and have a wee savings pot for any emergencies that may arise.

This site has been a godsend at many times and its been great to read others experiences. I wish everyone well with their journey and hope that its as smooth as mine was!

That's excellent and thanks for sharing, Garfield1030 - it feels like a while since we had a member letting us know about their discharge. Congratulations and hopefully you will enjoy having that bit extra each month going forward now.
