I have been in a protected trust deed for 18 months and all is going well.
I am about to become a member of a committee for a local group. I am aware that as part of this I would be listed as a trustee for the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator.
I know that their regulations state that under section 69 of the Act an 'undischarged bankrupt' is disqualified from acting as a charity trustee.

Does this include me?

I do not want anyone in my area to know that I am in a protected trust deed so would hate for the office bearers to be informed that I cannot be a trustee.

I must admit I don't know for certain, but if it only refers to undischarged bankrupts then you should be ok, hamster.

Why don't you contact the body you mention and ask them?
