Hi all , just to let you know I am still around .
But guess what ........... yes 7 years on and no further forward it has come to the point that my Trustee has won by doing nothing .
Looks like my only option is just to hand over the keys to end this , as it does not move forward in any way . Regulating bodies are toothless and the AIB can not implement trust deed law to firms . So why do they still seem to pretend otherwise ??. I have had years of hassle from Begbies Traynor , with no action by them even though they have been threating me for 5 years , when told to take me to court without further delay to prove what they have been saying , nothing has happened .That was months ago , I am now going to the Scottish parliament to see if there is anything which can be changed on a governmental level to protect others from being in the same situation as me ,and to see if more regulation of Trustees can be brought in to further protect the public from shoddy firms and cowboy trustees . Also meeting with some newspapers to highlight what goes on , plus given the state of things Im sure bad publicity will be a powerful tool for the person in the street to fight back with . Back against the wall now , and not much left to lose but I will go down fighting .[B)]
Hi pinalta
Has there been any response from the governing body?
Mark
Mark is not posting regularly in the Trust-deed.co.uk forum.
Mark, nothing heard from them which does not surprise me as it can take up to 6 months according to the info they gave me . Sorry to use the forum but have you been contacted by my ex wifes solicitor ? tried to explain the offer of composition to him and he could not get his head round Begbies not following the legislation set out by the AIB even though the proposal was run by them before the offer was made .[}:)]
Hi.
I think given the nature of the information in this thread and the fact that a company has been named I need to step in wearing my moderator hat.
I'd just ask readers to bear in mind that the firm concerned haven't put forward their position here, nor are they likely to, nor will they probably consider that they could rightly do so even if they wanted to.
I'm not setting out to diminish pinalta's position or point in any way whatsoever. Please just bear in mind that the firm have obviously taken a very different position which, I would assume, they must consider to be appropriate in the circumstances.
Hopefully pinalta's concerns will be addressed by the relevant regulatory body in due course and a solution can be found.
