Hi Bankiestillidie

I noticed that you have only recently signed a Trust Deed, is there any reason that you would want to become sequestrated instead?

There is no definitive answer re your bank account. Personally I find Bank of Scotland are one of the worst offenders for freezing bank accounts, whether you have any other debts with them or not, however you may be one of the lucky ones!

bank of Scotland froze my bank account but continued to charge hundreds of pounds in overdraft fees etc. Any money that went into my account was not accessable to me and the bank used this to clear the overdraft. I eventually got a cheque in from them approx 4 months later of the money that went in excluding the amount that was used to clear the overdraft.

My advice is have a new account to move all of ur wages etc into before annoying the bank of scotland.
