Just spoke with my TD company on phone to find out if money has been received from a 3rd party which I have previously posted about.

I was advised that it has not yet been received but had been told that it could take 5 - 10 business days for this to be received.

This period expires tomorrow and I advised my TD company to contact the 3rd party if the payment had still not been received.

My TD company initiated this whole thing and now they are taking a very lax attitude to the fact that the payment is out there somewhere and no one is chasing it up.

The money should have been paid to me to pay over to my TD but as this has not happened why should I chase it up. Similarly if my TD company are insisting that the 3rd party pay the money to them then they should be chasing this up if there are any delays.

I cannot believe the attitude of my TD company regarding this matter not to mention they gave me incorrect information regarding how this would affect my balance.

Funnily enough when I said to my TD company that any future payments from me would not reach them until 5 - 10 days after the due date they took a rather different attitude to that possibility.

The 'H' word springs to mind here.
