I am currently in a debt management programme with a company called Valour Finance Group. I am fairly happy with the arrangement, it's affordable (far more so than the payments I was making) although I do appreciate they are charging me to administer my debts.
I got a phone call out of the blue form a Glasgow based company called Freedom Finance who claim to be a Trust Deed company.
I am a big lad, well capable of taking care of myself, but at the end of the call I felt I had been pressurised into making an appointment for one of their representatives to come and see me. This meeting is set for 26th April, but they have already called again to ensure that I am still on for the meeting, and again I feel I'm being pressurised into going down this route with them.
Does anyone know these people or had any dealings with them?

OK, the fact that they are mis-representing themselves justifies my concerns. I'm cancelling the appointment. Thanks Mark.

No problem. IP firms are licences by ICAS or IPA and this would appear on their website.
