Hi we had a trust deed that ended in 2017 however I’ve shredded the letter we got discharging us from apex debt solutions and one of our creditors keeps getting in touch. I can’t get in touch with Apex debt solutions- anyone any ideas how I prove we were discharged??
Thanks

Hi Andrea73,

The Accountant in Bankruptcy should hold records regarding your trust deed. I'd suggest contacting them to see if they can provide you with written confirmation of the dates and other details.

Don't panic though. If this debt existed at the time that you signed your trust deed it is unenforceable.

Apex Debt Solutions are part of FRP Advisory, so you could try finding a number for them instead and you should be able to get through to someone from Apex. They have an office in Edinburgh.

They may well just point you in the Accountant in Bankruptcy's direction too though.
