Any regrets about TD?

I think it is all about balance. The Trustee has to maintain a balance between the obligations of the individual and also those of the creditors and more often than not, one is not happy with decisions made.

Since Novemeber 2013 and before to be honest, we have been required to work to fairly strick guideline in connection with expenditure and this was tightened in November 2013.

Allowances are normally built in for emergencies and there is always a case where the allowance is insufficient to deal wit the matter at hand. At that point discretion is key. However I suspect most IP firms will receive requests around December to miss 2-3 payments to cover Xmas presents which unfortunately will not be accepted by creditors under any circumstances.

Dealing with people's finances for a 3 years period can be tough from our side as well, however in my experience there are little or no issues vast majority of Trust Deeds dealt with.
