Yahooooooooooo! I have just signed on the forum and read from Mark that I am now protected!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sooooooooooo grateful Mark for all the groundwork and support from yourself, Susan and these lovely lassies in your office (remember that pay rise Mark!). I feel elated and am so happy. I won't go gushing for too long as I am still painfully aware of my other fellow contributors who still have problems and I will be following events closely. Suffice to say I really DO feel part of a big family now....what a bizarre and surreal situation!! Thanks also to Kitty, TDA, Plasticdaft and Kevin for support which has been really invaluable....
I have a confession to make:I didn't sleep a wink last night, but I shall tonight! AND, if ANYONE who is involved in this forum is EVER passing down EAST LOTHIAN way , pop in and have a chat and a cuppa or even something stronger! I don't actually drink myself, but I will pour a dollop of brandy in my coffee! Funny how it tastes much better like that.......
Forgive me for this euphoric outburst, but I am over the moon:another chance to put some structure back into my life! And yes Mark I'm sure time WILL fly.
I ain't no expert, but I will DEFINITELY be a regular contributor on this fantastic forum and Thank you all so very very much once again.
Kind Regards
a very Happy Toby.......!!

I don't want to say enjoy the next 36 months but what the hell, enjoy not worrying about how you'll pay for everything, enjoy knowing that this'll all end. Use the next 36 months to learn living on a budget - not as bad as you think. There are plenty of places online you can get help with that.

If you can afford it, try to treat yourself once in a while. Even if it's something as small as buying something out of the supermarket posh range as opposed to normal or budget. As a non drinker myself, I would buy a posh cake or a tin of posh coffee on payday. Not a great selection though due to my annoying allergy to caffeine.[:o)]

Nothing left to discharge - everything's done and dusted!

Congratulations Toby, it's wonderful to read how positive you are feeling.

What a shame you didn't check into the forum last night so you could have had some sleep!

Congratulations also to Mark and his team on (another) job well done.

G'day Gillian and TDA!
Yes Gillian you ARE correct of course: it's really nice to know you won't have to worry now unless of course I do something really silly (NO CHANCE...SERIOUSLY!), and yes, I buy coffee too! I have a Dolce Gusto machine which my son gave me for Christmas: I can now buy a couple of boxes of pods to celebrate!!
And TDA: what can I say! you have been one of my "Rocks" with sound advice and continued support. What a really fab job you do. And of course I wish I had checked in last evening, it would have made a HUGE difference! But I will savour this day for the rest of my life and YES it IS that important to me: I am a very lucky man to get another chance. Mark and Co. AND all the other first class companies really do need to be recognised as people not only who are doing a job, but are effectively instrumental in turning people's lives around.
So Thanks TDA and as I have said I will have today to savour, but believe me I am aware that others are still worrying and that is a very sobering thought!!
Cheers Guys....

And all this lovely advice, free!!!!!! No finders fee, no middle man fees and no fee for protecting the equity in your house, rabbit hutch or coffee machine[;)]. Deffo get a few nice pods for the dolce gusto and cake to go with it.

You are totally right Gillian, little treats are a must even when you are living on a budget, even if it is something very small. And using your own money for things really does teach you some great lessons. Makes you ask questions before you buy things, like "do I really need this?"

And start counting down the months,I made a chart with 42 months of boxes and ticked them off as I went.

It really will fly bye. It wont always be easy,it wont always go smoothly but communication with your TD firm is key to almost anything, they can help you if you dont ask!!
