I was just thinking about this.
My last payment is due to come out my bank account on the 1st of January - or whatever working day after that. I get my form for doing my review in the middle of January (usually). Will I have do do another review, even though my last payment will have went earlier that month. I've done my reviews on time, told my trustee about all pay rises and any bonuses I've had. The only thing that may affect it would be my valuation. Theirs came back ยฃ5K higher than mine. My dad got his solicitor to organise a cheque to pay the equity so it's been done. My car is a shed on wheels so no-one would be interested in that.
Can't believe three years is almost done. My trustee said it can take up to four months to get everything tied up but I can live with that, as long as I can cancel my direct debit.
Nothing left to discharge - everything's done and dusted!
Hi gillian
well done for getting to the end of the Trust Deed. Its amazing how many people say that the time flies in.
If the case has reached its 3rd anniversary, there's no need for a final review form to be completed.
I hope it all goes well for the future.
Regards
Mark

I'm not there yet Mark, only 182 days to go[;)]. If there was a Smiley doing a happy dance, I'd be posting that on the day I get to cancel my direct debit then it'd be virtual drinks all round when I get my paperwork through for getting discharged. That's the bit that concerns me, I'm with Invocas and they don't seem to be the quickest for getting the discharge paperwork sorted. That's only going by the info I've found online of course.
I'm overthinking all this but it's nightshift and I've got next to no control of my thought processes when tired[?].

Hi Gillian
Me too, I've just re read your post!
Generally if all assets have been dealt with and you paid the agreed number of contributions, then there's no reason why you cant cancel the mandate. Belts and braces, i'd do this and forward a recorded delivery letter stating this has been done and request confirmation that this should take no longer than 4-6 weeks.
