Hi folks, I've got my own TD with the last payment due on the 1st Jan 2013 (what a great day to make the last payment, talk about happy new year!)
Anyway, this is in relation to a family member who had a TD which finished in 2010. This relative never received anything formal to say the TD has been discharged and finds it difficult even now to prove to companies that it is complete. The TD company are listed on your site but I won't mention them. They've since said they don't really send you anything as a 'discharge' document - I should say it was signed in 2007 (I've seen some posts suggesting the Form 5 issues changed after that?)
I've been looking at the RoI search on AiB and performing various searches trying to find the record of her TD to see if the entry shows the discharge date, thinking she could print this and use it as evidence. I can't find the entry for her TD anywhere! - tried searching for different permutations to no avail.
I can find mine no problem, but can't see any record of hers. She does have documented paperwork from AiB at the time it was registerd, just wondered why it wouldn't be visible on their site?
Any ideas?

Not sure how long the aib keep insolvency records for. It may simply have dropped off their system. Anything on the credit files regarding their TD?

Trust deed completed Jan 2012,Trustee discharge Nov 2012.
A new dawn.
The RoI user guide says that the register has details of all 'live' bankruptcy cases, plus those discharged in the past two years. for PTDs, it shows 'live' cases, plus those discharged in the past year.
Good spot candlewick!!

Thanks, knew there had to be some logic to it, as I know someone else who had a TD and couldn't find them either.
I'll RTFM in future! [:D]
