Hi, After completing 6 years of entering my TD, the three Credit Agencies have fallped off their findings any info regarding my TD with is brilliant to look at. However, looking at the AIB register, this is still showing as active. Do i contact them to remove this or is there a separate time frame with them?
Thanks

Yes, it is completely separate from credit reports. Details of your insolvency will fall from the register 1 year after your Trustee's discharge.

So basically, applying for a Mortgage, the lender will still see that i was previously in a Trust Deed for a further year? Or do they generally just go with the Credit Agencies reports?

Hi Rickie1.

Different mortgage lenders underwrite lending in different ways, so I don't think there's a general answer to your question.

Has your trustee now been discharged from your trust deed?

The Trustee Discharge date according to the AIB register is 17/11/2016

Not long to go until it disappears of the Register of Insolvencies too then. Hopefully it won't cause you a problem if you are applying in the meantime, Rickie1

Having a mortgage LTV of 44%, i was looking for a small home loan onto my mortgage to upgrade the home. I was just hoping for all previous past history of the TD to be gone, prior to application for a piece of mind.

If that's a concern, it looks like you'll be clear of it in not much more than a month.
